MMGuardian Parental Control App for iPhone Features

Message Monitoring
View detailed reports of iMessage and SMS texts, and messages from the popular social messaging apps WhatsApp and Kik.
For message monitoring to work, it is necessary to install the MMGuardian Sync App onto your own or a home computer. Once set up, when your child’s iPhone or iPad connects to the same WiFi network that you also use for your home computer, the app will collect the messages from your child’s device. These messages will then be available for you to view either in the MMGuardian Parent App installed on your own phone, or at the MMGuardian web portal.
For more information please see:

Safety Alerts
Receive an alert when a message is indicative of cyberbullying, drugs, suicidal thoughts, violence or one of several other categories. Or, if an image saved on the phone may be inappropriate (nudity).
If you are using a Parent App on your own phone, the alerts will be delivered to that app and you’ll see an alert notification on your phone. The alerts are also sent to the Parent Web Portal, so can also be viewed there.
A copy of the picture that caused an image alert will be saved, and can be viewed, in the child phone app.

Comprehensive Reports
Detailed reports of messages, web browsing and phone call activity enable you to see the big picture or dive into specific areas of interest or concern. The reports are available at the secure Parent Web Portal or in the MMGuardian Parent App which we recommend you to install on your own phone.

Web Filter & Safe Browsing
Block Websites containing porn, adult or other inappropriate content using the Web Filter function. Select which categories of websites are allowed or should be blocked, or set up specific URLs and domains to allow or block.
Your child must use the MMGuardian app itself to browse the internet. You should use Apple Screen Time to block Safari.
When using the MMGuardian Safe Browser, categories of websites that are deemed inappropriate for the chosen age range will be blocked based on the categorisation of the website content. Categories include Adult, Porn, Gambling, Drugs, Phishing and many more.
While all you need to do is to select an appropriate age range, you can also customise which categories will be blocked or allowed. Additionally, you can set ‘overrides’ to always allow or block specific web site addresses, irrespective of the site’s categorisation.

App Control
Control application install and use. Preset times when all downloaded applications will be disabled or send a command to temporarily disable downloaded apps for a set period of time.
Other app related functions include the ability to disable the App Store to prevent new app installs and to set age-based restrictions on apps videos and music downloadable from the iTunes store.
App control and block schedules require that your child’s device has an internet connection. Should their device not be online at the prescribed time the command to disable or enable downloaded apps will be actioned when the device regains an internet connection.

Location
Worried that you child is not where they are supposed to be? Use the Parent App on your phone or the Parent Web Portal to find out where your child is right now.

Restrict Device Functions
Disable the camera, set content ratings for apps and movies from iTunes, lock or erase the device should it be lost or stolen.
