Backup and Restore for Android devices

Performing a Factory Reset on your child’s Android phone or tablet will delete all user content such as pictures, music, address book, messages and downloaded applications.

Before preforming a Factory Reset on your child’s Android phone or tablet, ensure that all important data such as pictures has been backed up.

Files can be backed up to Google Drive using the Google Drive app.

Android Device Backup

Android devices include a backup function, “Android Device Backup”, which when enabled will back up certain device related data and settings. See: https://support.google.com/android/answer/2819582?hl=en

Apps are available from 3rd parties that can backup and restore SMS messages. At present, this functionality is not available from MMGuardian.
