MMGuardian was featured on NewsWatch as part of its popular segment, AppWatch, that takes a look at the latest and coolest mobile applications and mobile services on the market. Andrew Tropeano, host of AppWatch, reviewed the service and discussed how it can help parents protect their children from illicit content.
MMGuardian is an android based mobile application that helps parents protect their children from illicit content on their smartphone. The application also has multiple features focused on protecting children from practicing dangerous habits. For example, parents can limit the type of applications their child downloads and the hours a phone can be used.
MMGuardian limits what a teenager can do while driving — no more texting or facebook updates while behind the wheel. Parents can also setup a list of keywords that their child can´t use in text messages. When a flagged word is used, MMGuardian will alert the parent immediately. The app also uses simple texting commands to tell parents where their child is at any moment or at a scheduled time. With an uninstall function, parents can make it virtually impossible for their child to remove the application without knowledge of the admin password.
Parents will never stop worrying about our children´s safety, but MMGuardian makes that job a little easier. To learn more about MMGuardian or to download it, head to the website.
